AMD RDNA 3 Custom Graphics Cards Could Follow In Nvidia’s Expensive Footsteps

Custom RX 7000 graphics cards from third-party card makers are set to release later than reference cards and can be quite expensive to boot, if the latest in the GPU vine is to be believed.

VideoCardz (opens in new tab) reports that the Board Channels forum (in China) claims that the only RX 7900 XT and 7900 XTX graphics cards to initially emerge on AMD’s launch day (Dec. 13) will be reference cards.

Vivo’s new cell phone is the first to use the super-powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

If you’re looking for a new phone and your focus is on power, then the recently announced Vivo X90 Pro Plus might be the handset for you, as it’s the first phone to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

This flagship chipset is expected to power many of 2023’s flagship Android phones, including the Samsung Galaxy S23 and OnePlus 11, but Vivo seems to have gotten there first.

Graphics card sales plummet – but there are good reasons why

Graphics card sales are in a big slump, at least according to the latest numbers from an analytics firm that regularly tracks the world of GPUs.

The headline statistics for the third quarter of 2022 from Jon Peddie Research (opens in new tab) (JPR) provide a pretty miserable preview, with sales of both integrated (in processors) and discrete (standalone) GPUs falling to 75.5 million units. This represents a 25.1% drop compared to the same quarter a year ago (and is a 10.5% drop when compared to the prior quarter of this year, Q2 2022).

Best blender 2022: blenders from KitchenAid, Ninja and more

Editor’s Note: November 2022

This month we’ve added in a portable blender from ShakeSphere. It’s a great option if you’re always on the go and need a quick smoothie whilst you’re out the house.

With the talk of Black Friday deals starting to become a reality we’re going to start to see some deals spring up. Although blenders might not be the most discounted small appliances during big sale events, it’s still worth checking out KitchenAid mixer Black Friday deals, and the like, to save some money where you can.

Jennifer Oksien, Editor – Homes

The best blender are a quick and relatively easy way to eat healthily on a budget. By having one in the kitchen, you are just one step away from making a super delicious soup or nutrition-packed smoothie. You’ll just need to wash and chop the ingredients before tossing them in the blender.

You won’t be limited to just blending. Blenders are versatile counter-top appliances that can also be transformed into the best juicers, best food processors, and so much more. That means there won’t be the need to go out and buy yet more products to get your fill.

Our favorite home gadget of the year is back in stock – and at an incredible price

We voted the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer Home Device of the Year at the 2022 Choice Awards sponsored by Sky Broadband. We think it’s the best fryer you can buy, as do many others – and that means it’s been rarer than chicken’s teeth these past few weeks. The smaller version is completely sold out in the UK and sells for silly money on eBay, but if you’re quick you can pick up the 9.6L model for a lot less than the Ninja scalpers are charging for the smaller one.

It’s worth noting that this air fryer has different names in different markets: it’s Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone Air Fryer AF400UK in the UK and Ninja Foodi 6-in-1 10-quart Air Fryer with DualZone Technology (DZ401) in the US.

Why is Ninja selling out so quickly?

Netflix’s Kaleidoscope is an ambitious TV experiment that will thrill fans by storm

Netflix loves a good experience – and the streaming giant’s upcoming TV test is unlike anything you’ve seen before.

Titled Kaleidoscope, Netflix’s upcoming show is being billed as a crime anthology series – but with a compelling twist. The series, which premieres January 1, 2023, is presented in a non-linear format, with viewers watching the eight episodes of Kaleidoscope in a different order than their family and friends. No two viewing experiences will ever be the same, creating an air of mystery around the theft and leading to countless watercooler-style arguments between you and your fellow Netflix subscribers.

The Razer Blade 14 is the best gaming laptop – and it’s $800 on Black Friday

One of the best gaming laptops money can buy has dropped to a record low this Black Friday. For a limited time, you can win a Razer Blade 14 for just $1,999 (opens in new tab) – a whopping $800 off the original launch price.

This particular model is equipped with a blazingly fast RTX 3080 graphics card, an equally beefy Ryzen 9 5900HX processor, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. Simply put, this is a machine with a full lineup of high-end specs that will deliver absolutely impressive performance considering the relatively small footprint of this device.

Yes, it’s incredibly expensive, but those with deep pockets and a need for performance on the go will appreciate this incredibly stylish machine. Alongside notable rivals like the Asus Zephyrus G14 ($899 at Best Buy (opens in new tab)) and Alienware x14 ($1,499 at Dell (opens in new tab)), there aren’t many gaming laptops out there offering what the Razer Blade 14 does.
